ALICJA REGA – A STUDENT OF THE VOCAL ARTS CENTRE IN RZESZOW. COACHED BY ANNA CZENCZEK, A POLAND’S REPRESENTATIVE FOR JUNIOR EUROVISION SONG CONTEST IN GEORGIA ON 26th NOVEMBER 2017!!!

We are pleased to inform that Alicja Rega – a student of the Vocal Arts Centre, studying for seven years under the guidance of Anna Czenczek – the director of this school and the director and initiator of “Rzeszow Carpathia Festival” International Song Festival, will represent Poland in Junior Eurovision Song Contest.


The representative of Poland was selected by judges: Sylwia Lipka, Natalia Szroeder and Artur Orzech and by the viewers during the National Finale that took place on 1stOctober 2017, live on TVP 1.

For Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Alicja Rega was nominated and coached by the artistic mentor Anna Czenczek. 
Alicja performed „Mój dom” (My home) whose producer is Anna Czenczek. Lyrics and music were composed by Marek Kościkiewicz, whereas the song was arranged by Tomasz Filipczak. They were invited to collaboration by Anna Czenczek and worked on the song for over a year. 
Backing vocalists were students of the Vocal Arts Centre in Rzeszow under the guidance of Anna Czenczek, i.e.: Patrycja Jurek, Aleksandra Wajda, Klaudia Zarzycka, Adrian Grądziel, Adam Szczypień.
Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be held on 26th November at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi (Georgia).
From 2010, Alicja Rega has been learning singing and honing her stage skills at the Vocal Arts Centre in Rzeszow, mentored by Anna Czenczek. 

Nominated and coached by Anna Czenczek, she frequently represented the Vocal Arts Centre in Rzeszow and won the highest awards at Polish and international songs festivals, e.g. in Lithuania, Malta, Russia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Germany, the Czech Republic. She took part in TV shows such as “Little Giants” or “Hit Hit Hurra!”. The Vocal Arts Centre looks after the image of young singer, development of her career and her promotion.

Watch TV on 26th November and vote for Poland’s representative.
Soon the song will be available in English and Russian which Anna Czenczek strives to obtain. – “Only with kind hearts we can build something”

From 2010 Alicja Rega has been learning singing and honing her stage skills at the Vocal Arts Centre in Rzeszow, working under the guidance of Anna Czenczek – the director of this school and the initiator and director of “Rzeszow Carpathia Festival” International Song Festival. At the Vocal Arts Centre in Rzeszow, Alicja cultivates her passions and interests, working on voice projection, song interpretation, stage movement, enunciation and recitation with elements of acting, stage clothes; she also studies the rules of makeup techniques and outfits. The Vocal Arts Centre looks after the image of young singer, development of her career and her promotion. She also attends Bilingual Secondary School in Tarnow and State School of Music (2nd level), a jazz unit, guitar group in Tarnow.

Regularly nominated and coached by Anna Czenczek, she represents the Vocal Arts Centre in Rzeszow and wins the highest awards at numerous song festivals, both Polish and international, e.g. in Lithuania, Malta, Russia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Germany, the Czech Republic. Major singing achievements of Alicja include: Grand Prix of the 10th “Skowroneczek” (Little Lark) Christian Song Festival 2011 in Nowy Sacz 2011, Grand Prix of the 17th “Wygraj Sukces” (Win Success) Polish Song Contest in Tarnobrzeg 2012, Grand Prix of the 11thInternational Festival of Children's Culture in Pacanow 2013, 1st place in International Children Song and Dance Festival in Konin 2013, Grand Prix of the 20th Polish and German Children and Youth’s Culture Festival in Konin 2013, Grand Prix of the 20th Polish and German Children and Youth’s Culture Festival called “Razem we Wspólnej Europie” (Together in Common Europe) in Munich 2015, Grand Prix of the 4th “Golden Talents in Golden Prague” International Song Festival 2015, Grand Prix of the 15th International Festival of Children's Culture in Pacanow 2017.

Alicja was chosen by Anna Czenczek out of the students of the Vocal Arts Centre to represent the school during audition for TVN’s music TV show “Little Giants”. She passed the audition in which competed children from all over Poland and she joined the team called “Czaderki” led by an actress, Aneta Todorczuk-Perchuć. The girls won 2nd place in team contest whereas Alicja received an award in individual contest – the best voice of the 1st edition of “Little Giants” show. 

On 5th May 2015, “Little Giants” album was released by Universal Music Poland. The album contains two songs performed by Alicja – I will love again by Lara Fabian and There you’ll be by Faith Hill. The former song is an opening track on the album that consists of thirteen songs performed by very talented children – participants of the TV show. 

In 2016, Alicja was entered to casting by the Vocal Arts Centre in Rzeszow and auditioned for another TVP 1’s TV talent show called “Hit Hit Hurra!”. From 800 applicants 150 people were invited for auditions and 22 performers were chosen to appear in the TV show. Throughout eleven episodes, judges: Edyta Górniak, Hirek Wrona and Bartek Caboń evaluated the participants who sung the greatest Polish and foreign hits as solo, duet and trios and performed with the greatest stars of Polish music industry. Alicja Rega perfomed with Sound’n Grace band and got to the finale along with six people who had received the highest score for all performances. The viewers chose the winner by text voting. In the finale she sung „Dziwny jest ten świat” (Strange is this world) by Czeslaw Niemien and took 2nd place. 

She also took part in TVP ABC’s “Petersburski Music Show” demonstrating her singing abilities on the Talent Stage. 

Alicja performed in various charity and other concerts organized by VAC in Rzeszow, e.g. she appeared on stage of the 11th, 12th and 13th “Rzeszow Carpathia Festival” International Song Festival 2015, 2016 and 2017; she also participated in concerts at the Concert Studio of Polish Radio Rzeszow in “Marching are the riflemen, marching” dance and song performance being accompanied by Manitou band and the Military Orchestra. Its premiere took place at the Sub-Carpathian Philharmonic Hall. Moreover, she appeared in “You won’t forget me” song and dance concert at Rzeszow Main Square during opening of the 13th “Rzeszow Carpathia Festival” International Song Festival. 

She takes part in various special concerts and original Vocal Arts Centre in Rzeszow’s song and dance shows which has permanently become an integral part of cultural events in Rzeszow and the Sub-Carpathian region. Such Christmas shows include: “Gdy tak w kołysce….” (While in the cradle…) (2011), „Kolędowanie – polski zwyczaj. Część 2” (Carolling – a Polish custom. Part 2) (2012), „Zadumany cały świat” (The whole world is lost in thought) (2015), „Anieli w Niebie Śpiewają” (The angels are signing in Heaven) (2016), „Nie było miejsca dla ciebie” (There was no room for you) (2017), directed by Anna Czenczek. Their premieres took place at “Maska” Theatre in Rzeszow and at Wanda Siemaszkowa Theatre in Rzeszow. 

Alicja also recorded some songs by Majka Jeżowska: she sung duet with Bracia Golec on the album called “Czarodzieje uśmiechu 2” (“Smile Wizards 2”) and with Łukasz Zagrobelny on the album “Czarodzieje uśmiechu 3” (“Smile Wizards 3”). The profits from both albums were donated to “Say no to cancer in children” action. She also participated in recording a CD with Christmas carols which was released at the end of 2014 to celebrate 15 years of the Vocal Arts Centre in Rzeszow.
